Foot-and-mouth disease (Aphthae epizooticae) has many names across the world. On this page is a collection of these names in different languages. Many thanks to Pascal Hudelet of The Veterinary Public Health Center, Boehringer Ingelheim, for starting this collection of names during the 2017 annual workshop of EU national reference laboratories for Foot-and-mouth disease.
This list is non-exhaustive. Please contact us if you know of any other variations that could be included or if you notice any mistakes (providing the correction, if possible).
